In addition to this, The State Cinema benefits from a state of the art Hollywood digital projector which guarantees you the best picture quality available. The quality is simply outstanding!

As well as bringing you the best new releases The State will also be screening films aimed specifically at Family Fun; Reminiscence screenings of the classic films we all love and watch out for our Themed Days which pay tribute to specific genres.

Food and Drink



The State offers a wide range of drinks, including soft drinks and alcohol from our fully licensed bars, and hot and cold drinks from our Deli.
Now you can relax with your favourite drink and watch great movies.

We also offer a selection of hot and cold food from our Deli and we have your cinema favourites available at the bar too with; pick and mix, crisps, candy floss, sweets and of course popcorn (including toffee-chocolate flavour!).

All our food and drink can be purchased and consumed during the screening!

VIP Area


The State Cinema offers a limited number of movie goers the opportunity to enjoy our exclusive VIP area, which boasts tremendous views and its very own cocktail bar. But make sure you book these seats early!

The VIP area is only available for certain screening please enquire at the box office for further information.

Live Sports on the BIG screen



The State screens the best and most exciting live Sports on our impressive 10 metre screen. Ranging from big Premier League games and selected England internationals, to The Cheltenham Racing Festival and big boxing events.

ALL LIVE SPORTS events are FREE entry, so you get to watch great sporting events without paying a penny!
