| I would just like to say a big “Thank you” to all of you who came to the State last weekend, it became one of our biggest weekends since we opened!!
We will continue to bring some amazing DJ talent to the club between now and the end of the year and hope you continue to support us, beginning this weekend with “Solarstone”, its going to be awesome.
To respond to your continued support we are offering this gig at an amazing £4 entrance all night with pints and bottles all at £2. Certain spirits will be on offer and of course our new “ Shot bar” is now open, as you all saw at the weekend. We understand that as the month goes on money is tight and our offers every third week in the month will be as good as last weekend so your clubbing can go on and on!
We are also proud to announce that our alcohol prices have remained the same since our opening on December 1st 2007 even though the government put them up and that as soon as the other local club had closed we reduced our entrance from £6 and £4 to £4 and £2 although for special events and DJ’s we have to charge a little extra. We are not here to rip anyone off and never have. We are here for the long term bringing great talent to Gainsborough, and not just a “flash in the pan” or someone who wants to make a “Quick Buck”. Don’t be conned by imitations!

| I have heard the advanced sales are going very well. This will be the second week in a row that there is a release that smaller children should be able to watch without their parents worrying. I wonder why they chose to be the week just before Indiana Jones. I suspect people will be willing to pay for both, because the reviews indicate the quality is excellent. This is great for movie fans.

| A group of us went to see Lisa Lashes on and I just gotta say she was fantastic,the atmosphere and lay out of the club was also fab,lets hope she keeps coming back cos we'll def be there. I also agree with one of the other comments left you need to get Jules or Tiesto there!!!

| Wow! Must say the under 18s night was MINT! Evri1 ive spoke tu enjoyed it and cant wait till April! I hope this is a regular thing as that night was the best of the year so far!! The muysci was also grrreat!! (Y) Thankyou State for puttin on a FAB night for all us teeny boppers :P

| A make or break for the State will be the closing time. Donny, Lincoln, Scunny and lads and lasses from further afield will not travel for a 2am finish. The worlds moved on...let Gainsborough move with it.

| Hi, The closing times will be 12:00 on Thursdays and 2:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.
We are applying for a later licence for the rest of 2008, so watch this space!
The cinema seating will be with tables and italian leather chairs, so you can relax with a drink with your friends and watch a film. Takes out the regimental cinema format.

| Do the state pla on holding rave nights? its just as much as i like dance music its a bit weak for me,
their are plenty of ravers in gains & its surrounding areas so ihope this coudl be on teh slate for the future
get some big name DJ's such as Hixxy, Gammer, dougal scott brown ETC i also reccomend adding your self to DSI (www.dontstayin.com) as a venue you can widen your guest's that way especially if your holding dance events its FULL! of clubbers & you can post your events their too

| The nightclub will open on 1st December. Due to unforseen building problems the club had to be pushed back by a few weeks, meaning lisa lashes could not appear on the 3rd November. Unfortunately MixMag issue had already taken to the shelves. The State Club team apologise for the delays...but all will be revealed on 1st December. See you on the dance floor!
