The Nightclub and Cinema will be closed for the duration, but the Coffee Shop and Box Office will remain open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
The 1200 capacity room will soon incorporate three dance floors instead of just one and also several raised seating areas. This will give clubbers a wider choice and much more intimate dance and seating areas to enjoy.
2010 will also see The State continuing with its new music remit of party tunes.
The refurbishment will also largely enhance the live sport viewing experience for football and other big sporting events, providing more of an intimate “pub” feel yet with the amazing 10 meter HD screen and cinema sound system which is unparalleled anywhere in Lincolnshire.
As part of this refurbishment the club will also incorporate Dart boards, pool tables and foosball tables, giving it more of a fun pub-entertainment feel.
The cinema will continue as normal and, in fact, benefit from several private viewing areas while watching the latest films.
